One of the recent studies (studies) is currently assessing the safety of lighters . Test on physical- mechanical properties of lighters perform in BS EN ISO 9994. This standard regulates the following parameters: height of the flame; Sparking and flickering; Extinction of the flame; Compatibility of fuel; Endurance refillable; Capacity and volume of fuel; Endurance in free fall ; Resistance at high temperatures; Internal pressure; During the combustion cycle; Long-term fire; Compressive force. The actual study on the safety of lighters is raglamentirano in BS EN 13869

This very interesting study requires testing to be conducted with one hundred children aged 42 to 51 months, boys and girls, divided into groups. The essence of this study was to examine whether within about 10 minutes, the child will be able to play sound (noise) from the ignition. Before being carried out this study, lighters must have passed a test in accordance with BS EN ISO 9994 .

The actual study is carried out by so -called lighter – substituent, which is essentially the same as the true lighter but meaningless /without propellant/. Thus, safety is ensured in the course of the experiment. We have contracts with several kindergartens in different geographic areas of the country.
Childcare in turn received the necessary permits from regulatory authority to conduct such a study on their territory. Our lawyers have prepared informed consents with clearly specified course of study that every parent sign agrees that his child to participate in the experiment. Participation of each card is prepared to participate in which are recorded the names of the child’s date of birth in months, sex, date of the experiment, the beginning and end of the experiment , the name of the investigator, the number of lighter substitute to working the child, the name of the head of the organization, and the minute the child is able to vazproidvede sound of fire or failed to cope with the task. The survey results are summarized and compared with the rated requirements of the standard. To the final report and added many pictures. Already have considerable experience of conducting such studies and we are proud to say that our reports are highly appreciated by the supervisory authorities in Bulgaria and the EU Member States.
